![]() Why take it?īartending can be a fun and lucrative part time or summer job, and this course will give you a better chance of getting employed. The two parts run about 4 and 1.5 hours respectively, and must be taken in order. The second part of the training is a hands-on mixology course taught by an experienced bartender at 116 Crown. The first part of this training consists of a nationally standardized TIPS certification, which focuses on alcohol safety and qualifies students to bartend for establishments nationwide. The Yale College Dean’s Office currently offers free bartender training to all undergraduates. ![]()
